Norfolk Communications, a division of Norfolk
Electric, was formed because of the growing emphasis on data and communication
systems in the modern construction marketplace.
Today's typical projects have requirements far greater than those of twenty years ago. They require fire-protection and life-safety systems, not just a fire-alarm. Yesterday's burglar alarm has become today's access-control system using card readers, badge scanners, and biometrics. Information must now be accessible, at ever increasing speeds, via both voice and computer, both wired and wireless, and it must be everywhere. Indeed, today's requirements redefine the very word "communications". Experience, coupled with constant and continuing education is at the heart of Norfolk Communications' success. Our licenses and certifications include:
Our clients include nearly every major hospital in the Boston area, as well as Harvard School of Public Health, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Dartmouth College of Science, University of Massachusetts, Tufts University and Bentley College. |

ambulance units to communicate even while under Boston Harbor. |
